Overview
Psychometry is one of the most in-demand roles in assessment, and one of the least consistently trained. Many clinics rely on informal shadowing, inconsistent SOPs, and learn-as-you-go delegation. We define psychometry clearly and practically. Within the U.S. and Canada, the titles psychometrist, psychological assistant, and related roles can vary across jurisdictions and settings. We address this without alarmism.
